1. Add the coconut oil/palm oil to the saponification kiln and heat with steam.
2. Three times add NaOH aqueous mixture to saponify the soap at reflux temperature for 6 hours.
3. You can add saltwater in the crude soap mixture, and then stand to separate the impurities from by-products glycerin. This will give you soap glue.
4. To obtain sodium laurate, adjust pH value to 8.5 using lye.
